Lahore Conspiracy Case against Shaheedajam Sardar Bhagat Singh in Lahore Court has been brought from Pakistan to India.


The verified copy of the Lahore Conspiracy Case against Shaheedajam Sardar Bhagat Singh in Lahore Court has been brought from Pakistan to India and is present in Uttarakhand.  In 2009, Gurukul Kangri University of Haridwar obtained a verified copy of the case proceedings from Pakistan.



 Now when the application has been made to reopen the case of hanging of Sardar Bhagat Singh in Lahore High Court of Pakistan, the importance of this copy has increased.


 Bhagat Singh Memorial Foundation of Pakistan has applied to the Lahore High Court and requested to reopen the case.  Trial was started in Lahore Court on 5 May 1930 against 18 people including Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev.

 The proceedings of the case are recorded in 1659 pages


 On 11 September 1930, the court framed charges on them.  The proceedings from the commencement of the trial till the framing of the charges are recorded on 1659 pages.  A petition was filed by the Gurukul Kangri University on 18 August 2009 in the Lahore High Court and requested to give a verified copy of the court trial on Shaheed Bhagat Singh.


 The petition was heard in the Lahore High Court on 25 August 2009.  On 31 August 2009, the verified copy was sent to the university after the Lahore High Court ruled that the copy be given to Gurukul Kangri University.  The Lahore High Court is stamped on every page of it.Some Useful Links:
