CAT Exam 2020: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) will organize CAT Exam 2020 on November 29, 2020, i.e. on Sunday, November 29. This exam will be conducted across the country in three sessions - Morning, Afternoon and Evening. This year, 2.27 lakh candidates will appear for examination in 159 cities in India for admission to MBA program in IIM.
The exam will be conducted at 430 examination centers, following the COVID-19 guidelines and SOPs issued by the institute. According to the official notice, the candidates, the invigilator and the staff of the examination center have to follow the guidelines from the entrance to the examination center. Guidelines have also been issued for this, which is mandatory for all to follow.
In CAT Exam, it will be a touch free process if you need to go to the examination center. Implementation of social distancing norms in the examination hall is mandatory. In order to avoid congestion at the venue, candidates will be given fixed time slots on the registered mail and mobile number of the previous day. All the candidates appearing for the examination will have to follow the rope line and the floor mark while standing in the queue outside the gate. Thermal checking will be done at the entrance of the examination center for each candidate. Candidates will have to wear face masks, hand sanitizer bottles and carry gloves at the examination center.
IIM Indore has released an official statement, stating that the institute and its delivery partner Tata Consulting Services, TCS have taken measures to ensure the implementation of advisories regarding social distancing and other restrictions from the Government of India. Protective measures have also been taken at the examination centers. Local authorities across the country have also been requested to provide necessary administrative facilities and security for conducting CAT Exam on 29 November 2020.
