CBSE Class 12 Board Examination 2021 CANCELLATION DECISION: BIG decision by Education Minister Ramesh pokhariyal

It is to be noted that a total of 174 subjects are offered by the CBSE to Class 12 students, of which about 20 are considered major by the CBSE. 

In today's meeting CBSE has decided to conduct board examination on the major subjects only

It is learnt that the proposals put forward by the CBSE will be discussed at a meeting of the state Education Ministers and state Education Secretaries on Sunday (May 23). Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will chair the meeting which will also be attended by Union Education Minister Ramesh Pohkriyal, Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar and Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani.

Board Exams 2021: A high-level meeting is to held tomorrow to discuss the proposals of the after12entrance examinations & board exams.

On 23rd My Sunday high-level meeting will be held with all the states and union territories Education Minister education secretaries and chairperson of the State examination board and stakeholder bill discuss and give their opinions on the conduction of class 12th board examination as well as the procedure and criteria of the various entrance examination after 12th.

The meeting will be held via virtual mode at 11:30 morning. 

The meeting can be shared by union Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh in the presence of Union Ministers Education Minister Mr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank also women and child minister Smriti Zubin Irani and Union Minister information and broadcasting Prakash Javadekar. 

In the earlier meeting, no final decision was taken on the conduction of the board examination but tomorrow there can be a big decision on the board examination as well as conduction of various competitive entrance examinations. 

The Hon’ble Prime Minister has desired that any decision affecting the careers of his beloved students has to be taken in wide consultations with all State Governments & Stakeholders. I recently held a meeting with the State Education Secretaries in this regards. (1/4)
