What CBSE says after many students seek cancellation of board exams.

A message is being widely circulated over the social networking sites and WhatsApp claiming that board examination will no longer be conducted for class 10 students, according to the New Education Policy. The fake claim states that under the provisions of New Education Policy, the board examination will only be conducted for Class 12th.

However, this is an absolutely false claim and PIB's Fact Check team has said that the Education Ministry has issued no such notification.

The PIB deemed it to be fake news and said that no such decision was taken by the Education Ministry.
