The situation is not clear about this yet. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) have not yet taken a final decision in this regard. However, many state boards have said that it is not possible to conduct examinations in March next year. State Boards of Maharashtra and Gujarat have said that these exams will not be conducted before May.

Maharashtra and Gujarat have announced to postpone the 10th and 12th board examinations till May 2021. However, CBSE and CISCE have not made any announcement regarding this yet. In conversation with a news website, both of these boards have said that they are waiting for the instruction of the Union Ministry of Education in this regard.
Often, board examinations are conducted between March and April across the country. But due to Corona virus epidemic in the country and the world, there is doubt about whether these examinations will be held at the scheduled time next year. Significantly, in 2020 board examinations were affected due to Corona virus epidemic. The lockdown was imposed in the country during examinations in 2020. Due to this, many papers examinations were not done.
Secondly, physical classes are closed all over the country for more than 7 months. Due to this, the syllabus of 10th and 12th board are also left to a large extent, which are finding difficult to complete in this academic session.
A few days ago the CBI indicated that the board examinations could be deferred for 45 to 60 days. This can be done by looking at the possible vaccine from the corona virus. It is believed that the corona vaccine will be available in the country early next year.
Experts also believe that the CBSE board can postpone the examinations. These examinations will be possible only when the normal classes start, which is not seen yet.
